Can staff purchase their own courses?

Staff can purchase their own courses, yet they must have a Username and Password to do this.

The students can not register themselves. For students to get a Username and Password, the Facilitators can register the student or send an email to admin@step2education.com with the student/s name/s and email/s and the location they are to be registered. Once they have a Username and Password, they will be able to log in and purchase their course.

We know not all hospitals are set up the same, and you may not be able to cover all the staff you wish to educate, or staff are best able to access funds by initially covering the cost themselves.

You can still facilitate their enrollments (track their progress, see their completion), but have them choose and pay for their own course. We have developed an online payment system, which means we can collect the money, so you don't have to worry about reimbursements. Keep in mind that these staff aren't eligible for the special discounts you may get for your organization for buying/paying in bulk, so they may pay a little bit more.

So how is this done?
1. Log in and navigate to "Students".
2. Locate and click on the "create a new student account" icon, which is the first one on the left.
You will be prompted to enter their name and email address.
3. Click "create" and that's all you need to do!

They will receive their username and password automatically via email. In the welcome email they receive is an easy guide which explains how they can choose and purchase their own course.

Individuals wanting to re-enroll?
If you have a staff member that is wanting to pay individually to re-enroll in a course they have previously taken, we'll need to assist with that process, so please contact us.
