Helping staff who have not passed their Assessments

If a student does not pass one of their assessment quizzes after using all 3 attempts, they are directed to contact their Facilitator for further guidance. There are two ways to help students in this situation.

1. Re-grade (ES02 and ES05 only)

Where possible, we recommend talking to or emailing the student to discuss where they are having trouble. As a Facilitator, you are able to review the answers they have provided. Once you are both happy with the level of understanding, you can give them a passing grade so they do not need to re-attempt the module. The steps for re-grading are outlined here.

2. Re-attempt (all courses)

If you would prefer the student re-take the assessment, please use the contact form or email us, providing the student's namecourse, and module quiz number and advising you would like the student to receive additional attempts. Our Student Services team will advise the student once their module is ready to re-attempt with a CC to you.
